Arthur King is one of the worlds’ most experienced corporate communications experts, with strengths in strategy, design management, project management and implementation. His independent practice focused on Brand Strategy and Implementation Management is based in New York after many years in Europe.
He went to London to head the European operations of L&M (now Lippincott) renowned pioneers in Corporate Identity, after directing projects for Hertz, Eastern Airlines, Citgo, Chrysler and New York Life.
In his own consultancy since 1971, he has led project teams in the successful resolution of communications problems for many major corporations. These include Aer Lingus, Thomas Cook, HSBC, Dollond & Aitchison Opticians and the City University of New York.
Arthur is also a specialist in sign systems, with detailed and practical experience supported by an understanding of visual perception and technical aspects. Signage assignments include BAA, London Zoo, Citizens Bank and many corporations, dealing with branding, information and wayfinding.
Among other qualifications, Arthur King has a degree in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute in New York and is a semi-professional photographer. He has presented his theories and case histories to many groups.
